A year ago I thought to do a cartoon parody of this video game (and the sixth). The senseless deaths, Cedric the annoying owl that does not help, the imposible labyrinth ... Here what I did of the flash of the 5th game, and here of KQ 6
This summer it occurred to me do the same but in flash game. It would be a remake of this adventure game, but with an interface like the LucasArts games (SCUMM) and with humor.
I've done very little of the game, and I have no desire to continue the project. But maybe in the future would return to the idea and continue.

About adventure games I've seen in flash, there is none that mimics the interface of LucasArts :(

I'm fucking tired of this.

These plugins for flash 8 serve to animate more easily in Flash.
For example, a plugin used to put bones to a character (as in CS4), and there are many more utilities.
On the web is all very well explained:

I discovered this yesterday. And I wanted to ask if anyone here uses these plugins, or others that also serve to animate more easily in flash.

Nope. Seriously ... What has happened is as follows:
Newgrounds every year has improved greatly in the quality of animations.
For example, in 2008 has reached an impressive quality. All this can be seen perfectly in the Flash Portal History year by year.

And suddenly it's 2009 and the awesome artists of NG submit this crap.
Why?

The reason is that it has reached the maximum level of quality in Newgrounds. The quality standards have returned to zero, as if we returned the year in which Tom created Newgrounds. It is a phenomenon similar to Y2K (Year 2000 problem). A kind of reset or travel through time.

Therefore we will see the animations that submited at the begining. See a return to "All Your Base", after "Nuna Numa Dance", the Legendary Frog flashes will be at the top of the Portal, Strawberry clock will return to submit "B",...

In Newgrounds there are few animations made in 3D .
Only those of Batard, two of Tankmen, and maybe some more. Surely it's because to create a 3D animation is more difficult than making it in flash, and those who do are more professional and not interested in a community such as Newgrounds.

In early September, I installed the 3D Studio Max and I got off tutorials to learn how to handle it. Still I don't use it that well, but when I learn, the animations than I had thought making in flash I will make in 3D.
I know that it's more difficult ... but worth it because the result is much better. It's also possible to create an effect of cel shading and export it to flash format (. swf)

Any NG user interested in learning 3D? There are many tutorials on the Internet.

In the first frame is the code needed to move the character by AS. In the followings frames, to move the character, we will have to call functions.

Sorry for not putting a better explanation. I'm tired of wasting time with the flash, because I haven't even done anything worthwhile and I doubt that this close to achieving this.
Have to investigate the file. fla to learn to handle it.
You can modify the code and publish a better tutorial.
